This is an inside look at the Roque Brothers Store located on Hwy, 484, Isle Brevelle, La. Closed to the public, the store contains many objects and Creole artifacts during the sharecropping era. This is the only Creole Merchandise store owned by a Creole family remaining in the area. A future planned project of the St. Augustine Historical Society is to preserve the store and its contents for future generations. |
